Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hamp. {New England RoadTrip}
And the first day we were there, we took a drive around the entire lake. Yep. We made it within a few hours, I believe. But when my mom and I noticed this spot, our hearts literally stopped for a second. It was a necessity for us to get out of the car and snap pics for 5-10 minutes. Even my dad and younger brother joined. =)
We stopped by at this covered bridge.
We visited the Polar Caves, which was basically just this tall trail up through rocks that had fallen on top of each other, creating holes and passages through them. I didn't really enjoy it, since I do not like caves, plus it was raining HARD, but the guys liked it a bit. =D
And finally I get to a picture of the actual Lake. It was so beautiful, and everything about it seemed to change everyday. The towns around this lake were very cute and adorable, sort of old, they had lots of lovely, colorful houses here and there, and the highlight of the area, to my brother and myself, were all the antique shops they had. We found one store that was just huge, had an amazing owner who told us about the items, gave us advice, even lowered the price of those things, and told our dad and several other adults how it is nice to see 'young people interested in old things'. =) Check out my Antiques Collection page on this blog to see the two cameras we purchased. =)
This final picture is actually an experiment of mine. I really wanted to capture the entire lakeside, but my lens didn't seem to do very well, especially since it wasn't a particularly wide one. So, I just took pics and ran my camera across the lake, then pasted them together. Though it isn't perfect, it is still nice and gives a good view of the lake to you. =)
Thanks soooo much for checking out my blog, and for your patience! You guys are awesome. =D
