His 18th Birthday

This is my brother, Jayme. He has appeared many times on my blog, and this is a special post. Yesterday was his 18th birthday. 

Jayme is such an amazing older brother, and I'm not even kidding.
We are very close in age, being only 16 months apart. Jayme has always been the protective, close older brother to me. He is kind, mature, godly, caring, and very concerned with what others are feeling or thinking. He goes out of his way to make sure people are comfortable and happy, and has tons of fun all the time. He always does funny things, making people laugh, whether they are in a laughing mood, or completely depressed. They always end up with a huge smile on their face. =) Before I go on about him, I wanted to show you this picture. haha I just love this one of him. His lit eye looks really cool, and with the out-of-focus pine tree branches in the background, it just makes an awesome effect. =D  Oh, and just to let you know, the music that is playing right now is from one of his favorite bands, Skillet. I am soooo sorry if it scared you to have that type of song playing on a blog that normally doesn't do that type of music. You may skip those two songs! =D  Jayme, playing them on here for this post is just for you!!! =) =)

Back to things about Jayme. Oh, before I really go on, I should tell those who don't know how to say his name, how to say it correctly, as many people get it wrong (and also spell it wrong lol). Jayme. Jay-Me. That simple. Jayme. =) haha My siblings and I have such unusual names. xd Brandon, Jayme, Kirstin, Erik. =)

Anywho, last night we were all (many of the friends he has made in the past couple years) talking about how he has effected us, and telling random, funny stories about him. I honestly don't remember that many things, but know they happened. lol I do remember playing interesting, funny games with him when we were kids, dressing up in his clothes and almost looking exactly like him (that was YEEEEEARS ago) for a picture, haha, saying things at the exact same time as him, only to have him say jinx before me, etc. etc. But my experiences with him have been fun (and sometimes crazy lol).



And sadly, my years of living in the same house as my older brother are coming to a close. He is a senior, graduating before summer starts. Though he is probably not going to move out of the house for a couple more years, I definitely don't have as many years with him now as I did when I was five. =(



Oh my goodness, Jayme is amazing. Okay, so yesterday it was REALLY cold outside (it has been for the past couple weeks, but still!! lol), and he went out in a t-shirt, and stayed out without complaining till I took as many pictures as I wanted. He is so amazing. =D =D

haha I love these pictures more than I do the ones I took of him last summer. I really love how this one looks. with the dark trees to his left (if he is facing me, it is his left), the woods behind him, and the golden branches beside him. =)

Jayme, you are an awesome 16-month-older-than-me brother. I couldn't imagine having a better one than you. Thank you for your patience with me all these years! =)
